Located in the North of Mallorca´s island, is one of the most attractive and with more personality municipalities of the island. Pollensa is surrounded by the see and the mountains "Tramuntana".

The “Serra de Tramuntana” is a natural area ,of 80.000 hectares, where a great wealth of botanical and animal species are found .It extends from NE to SW , beginning in Formentor , in pollenÇa , and ending in Dragonera‘s island ,in Andratx .Its fascinating form , with its steep mountains of grey limestone and its deep green valleys, has always been and even now is an inspired place for many artists

This little church dates from the 13 th century up to a set of 365 steps. The top flight boasts magnificent views of Pollensa and the “Tramuntana mountains” .Easter Week is well known in Pollensa , owing to Good Friday is hold at the “Calvari” by the spectacular procession with the image of the death Jesus descending

El Puig de Maria

This little hill lies at the foot of the town at 333 metres . On its summit , there is a sanctuary constructed between the ends of the 14th & 15 th centuries .In its Church there is an old image of the Virgin from the 14th century . The story tells that she was left in the hill and the people of Pollença found her . That way this image of the Virgin became Patron Saint of Pollença
